Hotel Villa –
a Reflection of a City

Carrying the history of the Central Post & Telegraph Head Office and dating back to 1912, Hotel Villa Copenhagen is a new social scene in Copenhagen, merging the past, present and future together in an inspiring and playfully designed ambience. The hotel honors the ethos of the old charming Europe expressed in the architectural heritage and combines it with a contemporary and vibrant setting. With 390 carefully renovated rooms, an impressive atrium courtyard, a modern bar, restaurant and rooftop pool, Villa Copenhagen offers an exquisite experience for all senses.

A delicate "office away from home" is created in a luxurious manner with the 109 Chair as the center piece. The chair is in walnut with ‘Flux’ leather upholstery in the colour ‘Light Brown’.

The France Chair in walnut with 'Vidar' upholstery in the colour '1511’. The comfortable lounge chair is found in numerous rooms creating the ideal lounging spot.

The 25 meter lapping pool does not only make you feel good after a plunge or a couple of laps, but also from the fact that it is sustainably heated by the excess heat from Villa's cooling systems. The sustainable heating system means that the temperature in the pool may vary from 28-30 degrees.

The 109 Chair | Finn Juhl | 1955

Although it features several design highlights, it is the detailed armrests that make the 109 Chair from 1955 truly unique. Carefully shaped with a subtle hollow at the tip, the armrests are designed to perfectly fit the pad of a thumb. Like its design sibling, the 108, the 109 is ideal for both private homes and restaurants. The chair is upholstered by hand in Denmark in textile or leather. The frame is available in oak or walnut.

The France Chair | Finn Juhl | 1956

The France Chair from 1956 was designed for the Danish company France & Son and was aimed at the American market. While understated in its expression, it is recognized for its fine details, such as the seat and back being subtly lifted from the frame, while the armrests are adorned with the iconic paper-knife detail. The chair is available in oak, smoked oak, black painted oak, or walnut with hand sewn upholstery in textile or leather.

The 48 Sofa Bench | Finn Juhl | 1948

The ‘heart-shaped’ 48 Sofa Bench from 1948 is defined by Finn Juhl’s characteristic sculptural shapes and refined details. It embraces the seated person, with rounded surfaces shaped to accommodate the natural contours of the resting body. Finn Juhl enjoyed experimenting with materials and combining them, and the 48 Sofa Bench is available not only in walnut but also in a combination of walnut and oak. The Sofa Bench is upholstered by hand in Denmark in textile or leather.

Japan Sofa | Three Seater | Finn Juhl | 1957

While maintaining the same minimalist elegance as its two-seater counterpart, the three-seater version of the Japan Sofa offers a more expansive presence, ideal for larger spaces. The design remains faithful to the Japanese minimalist design idea, with the backrest gracefully separated from the frame by the signature brackets. Japan Sofa Three Seater is available in oak or walnut with textile upholstery.
